Car Window De-Fogging
Our Scion has problems with the inside of the windows fogging up in the wintertime. It’s even potentially dangerous. We’ve used the Rain-X de-fogging wipes—pointless waste of money.
I know that in our bathroom, I sometimes use shaving cream, rubbed on the mirror, to prevent fogging while you’re taking a shower. Gotta give that a shot. I bet it works!
Other suggestions: rubbing in a drop of dish-washing liquid or even rubbing in petroleum jelly.
Update: The dish-washing liquid isn’t so great. It prevents fogging, but it’s not so clear. The shaving cream (Barbasol foam from a can) works fantastic! Very easy to apply, no mess, and crystal clear. May need to re-apply more frequently, though.
